Gold Leafing Workshop
Procedures
- Apply lacquer glue with a brush
- Distribute an even coat of lacquer glue over the ornament’s surface with cotton
- Trim a gold leaf sheet to an appropriate size
- Place the trimmed sheet over the ornament
- With floss silk, softly stroke the applied surface to remove any ridges or excessive gold leaf.
- Remove a sheet of paper underneath.
- Done!
